There is no greater pleasure than meeting people in real life who you have worked with remotely for a long time. It was amazing to meet the team from Accessible Holiday Escapes this weekend and show them Castle Chase. The weather memo didn't get through but hopefully the cosiness shone through!

Saturday is shop day, we have fresh fallow venison as well as beef and lamb, we will also be taking orders for Christmas, so do come and see us. A customer said to us this week, that our meat tasted like the meat she had from her dads butchers shop 40 years ago, and it bought back wonderful memories of lovely meat and family times.

WINTER WARMER TIME....
We are all about embracing this time of year, and it has to start with gorgeous slow cooking cuts. Love a tasty casserole with veg for supper then a cheeky spoonful with left over veg and some hot stock stirred in as a healthy soup for lunch the next day.

It’s nice to watch someone else grappling with building a house that is beautiful accessible and characterful on tonight. I sympathise with Cara agonising about making sure it works for her wheel chair. It is that thought that makes the difference!
