Just back from a quick approx 2.5 day visit to the beautiful island of Corfu! Flight departed at 5.30am and arrived back a few days later shortly after midnight. Stopped in the lively village of Kassiopi where my Mum and her husband Ian are currently staying so it was nice to spend some time with them. The resort boasts breathtaking views across to Albania and 4 beaches to enjoy. By day, you can explore the traditional harbour, overlooked by a Byzantine fortress which you can walk up to and admire the views from the top. Also wonder the cobbled streets passing churches, shops and cafes. By night, you can enjoy the friendly Greek hospitality at an array of restaurants, bars and tavernas. I was staying at the small and friendly family run Donna Amalia Apartments, located a short walk from the resort centre. Warm sunshine with some very lively thunderstorms (power cut in room 😂!) and dodging some quick torrential downpours. Passed by some other towns and resorts I have arranged trips for others like Ikos Resorts and Dreams hotels.
