Slight technical hitch at the moment - cafe doors are broken but dont panic, they are still open - you just need to come in through the door on the footpath Wendy's at Usk Museum Cafe

The museum remains closed though & will re-open in March

We are now collecting stamps for the RNIB Stamp appeal in Usk Rural Life Museum. Just tear/cut them off your post when it arrives, save them all & pop them in the box on the welcome desk at the museum next time you are popping in for a coffee at Wendy's at Usk Museum Cafe!

Our fabulous little museum is run ENTIRELY by volunteers! From manning the welcome desk, to cleaning and maintenance, book keeping and secretarial roles even watering our plants, everything is done by volunteers!

In National Volunteer Week - here is a big thank you, pay on the back, hug to each & every one of them! There would be no museum without you - THANK YOU!🙌🙌🙌🙌

Just a reminder that the museum is closed today as all the volunteers are sat in front of the tv but Wendy's at Usk Museum Cafe is open with some lovely coronation specials!

**THIS WEEKEND - Monday 6th May anytime from 10 - 4**

As part of the Coronation celebrations we are looking for your help please with our "BIG TIDY UP!" of Usk Rural Life Museum. Could you spend an hour (or more!) with us on Monday 8th May helping us give the museum a good tidy please? More hand make light work! There will be a good supply of tea/Coffee & even biscuits if you are lucky!

Today's news! The Management of the Cafe at Usk Rural Life Museum is changing!

After a year of running Polly's, Rhi will be moving on to pastures new. All the Board of the Museum would like to thank her for her hardwork and sunny personality. ☀️😃

Good Luck Rhi!!

From the 15th April, we welcome Wendy & Lee Davies who will be returning to run the Cafe.
