While in Turkey I went to check out one of the best hotels in area Maxx Royal Belek. Great family concept Ultra all inclusive hotel with huge rooms and also some private villas and Maldivian style pool.
And it has it's own chocolatier😋
Tennis courts and padel tennis courts available also. 🎾
In the shoulder season great for golfers with it's own Montgomery golf course⛳️

Day 4: Rome
You actually dock at port called Civitavecchia, which is roughly 90min away on coach transfer or what we did, we took the train from the train station which is pretty much next to the port and then it's about an hour long journey into the town centre. We bought all day ticket for €12 which covers the train and all the Metro and buses in Rome so amazing value.
Once you arrive into Rome it's only 2 stops on Metro to the Colosseum. And from there you can walk to see quite a lot of the main sites like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps or the Pantheon.
Massive queues everywhere so you need to plan ahead regarding the tickets.
At the moment lot of the city is a building site, lie they decided they are gona restore the whole city all at once so something to think about if you planning to come as there is lots fences and scaffoldings which obstruct the view a bit.

Day 3:
We sailed across to Italy. Today's port Marina Di Carrara, which is gateway to Pisa or Florence. Have been to both of them before so chose to enjoy the sunshine on the ship and chill😎🍹
Lots of cool spots on the outside decks to choose from👍

Day 2:
Unfortunately due to the high winds we couldn't dock in Toulon this morning so I guess it's time to enjoy the ship a lot more😉
Toulon is great base point to get to Saint-Tropez or Marseille.
The food so far has been exceptional😋

Day 1: Cruising on Virgin's Scarlet Lady around Med can begin.
After landing in Barcelona we took the taxi to the cruise terminal to drop our bags off around 11am and then hopped on a free bus into town. As soon as we got off the heavens opened and had heavy rain for about half an hour( not the best start after hoping to escape rainy England😢😉)
Had a quick walk around town and headed back to the ship for around 2pm. Boarded fairly quickly and started exploring the cool ship and the sun finally came out😎
Now can't wait for the sail away party at 7🍹
