A rare 'blonde' leucistic red squirrel has been photographed at Ventnor Botanic Garden here on the Isle of Wight. Such squirrels are even rarer than 'white' albino squirrels. Gorgeous walk on Headon Warren today with stunning views over the needles. Back down to Colwell Bay for a dip which came to an abrupt end when that big black cloud made us run for the car!

I love this walk and it’s much safer for the dogs than Tennyson Down where I’m always worrying they might go over the cliff edge!
