There was a serious collision on the 4th of February when a Sainsbury’s van reversed on the road causing a serious accident with one of our buses in Benenden. There was a mini following the bus and the lady kindly said she witnessed what happened. If you can contact us that would be much appreciated.Perhaps other witnesses can come forward please.

The road between Mascalls and Matfield is closed until the 22nd of December.Divertion will be the same as it has been from the last few days.

258 uplands bus will be running as normal this afternoon. Bus was not able to access Kilndown village this morning due to a serious RTC on the A21. The road was shut between Rosemary Lane and Scotney castle and the traffic was stand still. Our thoughts are with the people involved. Sorry for the inconvenience caused this was out of our control. Verbal abuse to our staff will not be tolerated.

An accident between a motorcycle and car by the petrol garage in Langton Green has closed the A264. Emergency services are at the seen and the 285 bus service is stuck there. We don’t know when it is going to be reopen. Sorry about this inconvenience. It is out of our hand.

Our Story

Former Maidstone & District bus driver and driving instructor Donald Ham and his wife Patricia established Hams Travel back in 1963 with only 3 buses.

With extreme hard work and commitment they have expanded their business to a fleet in excess of 50 vehicles.

Now after 50 years of successful business Donald and Patricia are now enjoying spending their time with their Grandchildren. The company is now predominately operated by their two sons along with their daughter, son-in-law and experienced admin team at our main office and depot in Flimwell. We are conveniently situated on the A21 on the Kent / East Sussex border.

Our on site workshop at our Flimwell site is fully equipped with all the facilities that would be expected from a leading coach operator.
