We came across this little chap on the beach recently who had obviously been separated from mum and was looking very hungry. Thanks to the brilliant people at who sent a medic within 30 minutes and took him away to a rescue centre. They do great work and appreciate and need contributions. Add their emergency number to your phone book

Suffolk coast holiday cottage

Set in a pretty coastal village next door to Southwold on the Suffolk heritage coast, Fern Cottage is open for guests all year round. Located in the centre of the village, and just 5 minutes to the beach, this handsome Victorian house is a perfect base for couples, friends and families to unwind and enjoy the simple things in life. The cottage was a much-loved private holiday home when we bought it in June 2018 - we especially loved the open-plan downstairs layout and the fact that the bedrooms naturally split up into adults (first floor) and children (attic floor). We set about updating the bathrooms, kitchen and decor to give a fresh and comfortable vibe but have not made huge alterations to the structure. Still a little work to do on the gardens which will happen over the course of 2019. Come and discover beautiful Walberswick in our lovely house!
