Good morning everyone from Norfolk! We just watched 'the happy dippers' group go for a sunrise swim at Sea Palling. The winter surfers have been out all morning too. Gorgeous way to start the day with the dogs.

A view we don't often see. The wild rabbits in the field next to the cottage had started to chew and dig their way under the old fence. The new concrete gravel boards have been part buried and then reinforced with lots of underground rubble, hopefully rabbit proofing the cottage garden way into the future.

NINETY MILES OF DOG WELCOMING NORFOLK BEACHES!

Here in Norfolk we have an easily accessible coastline of NINETY miles!! There are just EIGHT short beach areas where dogs are not allowed from 1 May - 30th September. Those areas add up to 2 miles at the most.

So that means that we have EIGHTY EIGHT miles of beaches that are dog welcoming between 1 May and 30 September and NINETY miles for the rest of the year!!!🥳

That's a LOT of beach to let your dogs off lead!! And so many of them are super quiet as they are between access points/villages. The reputation that Norfolk has for being so very dog friendly is well deserved!
