Well what an amazing day that’s turned out to be,
The biking gods were on our side with the weather all day bright sunshine
Great bunch of lads as well.
Massive well done to Ollie first time off road and came to Wern well done mate.
Well done to everyone else who was getting stuck into some of the crazy stuff as well.

We managed the left switch backs little bit tuff on the big bikes with the rocky holes but we done it.
Couple of big hills
But mainly just a great fun ride around.
Hopefully many more to come

Also huge thank you to Wern Ddu Quarry for letting us come and play on the big bikes.

We need a minimum of 15 to run the day.
We can’t moan we have no where to ride without a lot of enduro bikes running around if we don’t take advantage of these venues giving us these opportunities.

Without the 15 people the event will be cancelled

Remember this is a private hire of the venue and a unique opportunity to get the big bikes around without the usual amount of riders there.

A great way to build confidence and community for all of us.

So here it is dates for the Wern Ddu event

We will be running the private hire day designed for bigger bikes on the 29th of March. But everyone is welcome.

This day will be just us in the Quarry, with myself and Lee we will be there for guidance and help but this will be a very relaxed open day.

There is a variety of trails and extreme sections for all abilities.

Policy announcement

Please note for all future tours we won’t be able to provide a hotel for the evening stay over.

Instead we will notify you of the location where we will be stopping off for the night or nights and offer hotel recommendations in the area.

We will of course be staying in the area and will have the support van with us for your spares and gear for the evening.

WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS

Myself and Lee have been to the famous Wern Ddu Quarry a few times over the years and both thought it would be great place for some big bike fun.
There’s a great mix of fun fire roads, and easy lines.
Some single track cut ins and loops which are awesome.
And of course is anyone fancies them some huge hills to play with.

We have secured a private hire of the venue just for us so we can feel confident on the big bikes without having to worry about faster smaller bikes running around.

Myself and Lee will be on hand for some tips and tricks and also help if anyone needs it. As well and being your guide for the day.

This will just be a one day event and we will be holding this on a Friday date to be confirmed.
It would be great to see what you all think and get some numbers together so we can get some dates set in stone.

This is a no pressure event with a wide range of abilities available from novice to expert so please don’t feel you can’t get involved.

Sorry we have been a little quite it’s been a busy couple of weeks.
Unfortunately as you know my T7 got stolen and I was crazy busy getting a new one brought and built up ready for valleys, along with all the other prep needed for valleys.
We managed to get the bike made and set up with just 3 miles on the clock by the time I got to the start line for valleys haha not ideal but needs must.

There will be some updates coming out soon with regards to new dates, brand new events, changes to the way we run future events and also the bike build video and walk around.
And also a valleys de brief.

Lots going on as usual but now we can focus a little more time on here.
Please remember what we started this group for also myself and Lee also have other work commitments and we are building this up as a community of liked mind big bike riders for us all to go and have a laugh on the bikes.
So do bare with us sometimes when we are a little busy either replacing bikes or re building them after races.

We have had some cancellations on our latest tour dates on the 17-18th of February.
We will be running a Novice-medium weekend based on riders who haven’t done a huge amount of off road riding on there bigger bikes.
Either big ADV bikes or your 4 stroke bikes.

If your not feeling to confident on your bike or just want to get out on it with some like minded bikes.
We will have Lee Walters Off Road Training School with us offering training and guidance which would normally set you back £180 per days training.
A support van and first aider just in case.
Everything you would want from a welsh trail tour.

Come and build some confidence and have a crack on some amazing trails and meet some great people.

£160 for two days riding you can’t really go wrong
