FOUR DAY SNOWDON EXPED.
7-10 JUNE. 2024.
Final climb to the summit.
Helicopter up for a faller with a broken leg. Rachel takes it all in her stride. Tight boots, 3 points of contact at all times, planning ahead and good foot placement and hand holds. Water bottle falls from rucksack. "LEAVE IT !".
A fantastic climb by Rachel safely carried out. Final photo back at the base with the relaxing sounds of a waterfall.

FOUR DAY SNOWDONIA EXPED.
7-10 JUNE 2024.
Here it is!!!! Rachel's challenge to herself. The North face of Tryfan. This is a grade 1 scramble virtually all the way to the summit. A summit which in height is just short of Snowdon.
Time for a break, some mint, and remaining totally focused on what is about to come.
Will she achieve her aim ?

FOUR DAY EXPED TO SNOWDONIA.
7-10 JUNE 2024.
Rachel has a high aim for the weekend which we will take on tomorrow. Meanwhile on arrival it's a training climb to the summit of Snowdon, using the Pyg track on ascent and Miners track for descent. No problems here. A great climb, safe, and in good time. Now to rest up for tomorrow.

Raising money for mountain rescue. Great weather but it never gets easier. Over 2000mrs of ascent. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic trip at the weekend on the Jurassic Coast. Starting at Lulworth Cove, high tide, we made our way east onto the military firing range, and then on to the deserted village of Tyneham, returning via the cliff paths. A strenuous day well handled by all who attended.

THE RING OF STEALL IN THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS.
An extreme outing around these 4 Munroes. 1700mrs of ascent ( plus descent ) as well as scrambling, ridges and arete's. Well done to the group. ........can anyone spot Ben Nevis in the background of some of the photos ?

What a fantastic climb to the summit of Snowdon !!!!

Day trip to RHOSSILI BEACH in Wales for 2 members of the Livingstone Club. The objective was shell collecting but along the way we explored an ancient shipwreck, a vast area of sand dunes and discovered a multitude of different organisms washed up by the tide. To finish this was all 'washed down' with a burger and ice cream.

Our first 4 day exped for a long time, and it is good to get back to normal.
Yorkshire Dales. A fine moonlit night followed by a visit to Ingleborough cave. Then up Trow Gill and on to Gaping Gill .
Then a visit to White Scar caves with a one mile circuit inside the hill. ( no that is a dummy......not your route ). To finish.....a lovely trek up and down the Ingleton waterfalls.
This was such an enjoyable trip that we will be putting it on again later this year.

Great weather today for ex-infantryman Nigel's navigation refresher. He hasn't forgotten a trick.

Great to see Arif Khan go from Oxfords ox5 run to U.S.A. and this years London Marathon........ times....and get this.......Sir Mo Farah 2:10:28 Arif Khan 2:48:21.......and Mo came 9th.
Congratulations on a terrific achievement from all at SPR.

First trip of the year. 14 miles on the miltary ranges at Sennybridge Brecon Beacons. Stormy weather but calm lunch under the pines. 4 hours 30 mins. Good training for the Big Black Mountain Challenge.
