😲 Another day - another emergency!

Another reason why to book with a trusted agent 💁🏼‍♀️

Thanks to air traffic control strikes, sadly my customer's flight has been cancelled home from Tokyo and rebooked for 2 days time.
I know Sam will be happy. 🤣

While my customers were sleeping I rebooked:

* Their flights.
* Their hotel for an extra night.
* Contacted the hotel to request the same rooms.
* Rearranged their transfers.
* Rearranged special assistance and seating.
* Rearranged their meet and greet carpark and terminal changes.

Be careful what you wish for 🤣 customers were not ready to come home yet.

Sam is living his dream in 📍Tokyo.

This has been Sam’s lifelong dream to visit Tokyo. Being a huge Anime fan, this was the place to visit.

🦁 Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge 🦁

Now this hotel we were all incredibly excited for…..

From the moment you enter the lobby, you are transported into a tranquil African escape. Every single detail has been thought through, right down to the scents they use.

The hotel is a little further out than some, but with regular bus transportation this isn’t an issue. It’s worth it for the size of the grounds and to be able to see giraffes from the terrace.

You can truly relax here and switch off, but still have the ability to easily get into the Disney parks - a perfect combo!!

Upgrade to a Savanna View room and you can share your morning coffee ☕️ with a giraffe 🦒 from your balcony.

This hotel has always been on my bucket list and I'll certainly be returning. 💫

🦁 Next up we have Disney's Art of Animation Resort, more specifically the Lion King Suites!

This is a value resort that really does offer incredible value….

We particularly loved the proximity to the skyliner, the suites are nearby so it’s super easy to just hop on and head to the parks.

The suites themselves are a good size and an absolute dream for any Lion King fan, they are very themed and perfect for an ultimate Disney trip.

Whilst in the resort we bumped into characters in the lobby and got to have a play in the large arcade.

This resort really is ideal for families and those wanting a well-located yet budget friendly Disney resort.

⚡️ First up, let's take a look at the hotel we stayed in during the trip: Disney's Deluxe Resort - The Contemporary. This iconic resort is well-known for its unique feature of the 🚝 monorail running through it on the way to the parks. It's also your stop if you're heading to Chef Mickey's for some character dining! 🥞
Initially, I wasn't sure if I'd love this resort since it's quite modern for my taste, but I ended up falling in love with it! The convenience of hopping onto the monorail was a huge plus, especially given our short stay. The room was spacious and recently refurbished, complete with nice touches like USB chargers next to the bed.
A common question people ask about this resort is whether it's noisy. Honestly, not at all! I didn't hear a thing, and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Overall, this is a brilliant resort for an easy and enjoyable holiday. You can't beat the location, and it truly is a Disney icon.

With the largest rainforest in the world, Borneo is home to a huge variety of wildlife but is probably most famous for the orangutans. It also has the most beautiful beaches, making it a great destination for adventure and relaxation.

ᴍʏ ʜɪɢʜʟɪɢʜᴛꜱ ᴡᴇʀᴇ:
🦧 Seeing the orangutans. The Borneon orangutan is an endangered species, so it was a real honour to see them in a sanctuary, where they are safe from harm and so lovingly taken care of. The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is home to around 70 orangutans who are being rehabilitated for release back into the wild.
🌄 Seeing the sunrise over Mount Kinabalu. At Rasa Ria reserve, we took a hike to the top of the forest reserve to watch the sunrise. It was absolutely beautiful and well worth the 5 am wake-up call.

MY FAVOURITE HOTEL:
We stayed at the absolutely beautiful Shangri La Rasa Ria in an Ocean Wing Junior Suite, which had a whirlpool bath bath on the balcony. The ideal spot to relax before dinner. We ate at the Kozan Teppen Yaki, and I had to indulge in the scallops and beef tenderloin. The chef was incredible and, like any teppen yaki, kept us very entertained even inviting us to cook too!

After visiting Borneo, you have the option of visiting one of Malaysia’s other beautiful islands or the city of Kuala Lumpur.
We first went to Kuala Lumpur and explored the city's many religious buildings. Malaysia truly is a melting pot and has such a rich culture that there are so many places for you to visit. One evening, we dined at Atmosphere 360, a rotating restaurant with an amazing view of the city and the Petronas Twin Towers.
We then flew to Penang and experienced the many street markets and tried lots of street food, as well as relaxing by the beautiful beaches.
