The Y2 children enjoyed working in pairs to describe and compare pieces of composed music in their computing lesson. It was lovely to hear their different opinions on what they liked about the music pieces.

The Year 1 children have been enjoying their Lexia time on the iPads this week. They love trying to earn points and level up using their fantastic phonics and reading skills.

We are looking for some help with marshalling the parade through the village, on carnival day.

To keep the parade safe we need adequate
numbers of traffic marshalls to close roads and guide the route.

Could you spare some time on Carnival day to help keep the parade moving?

Relevant training will be provided for all volunteers.

Year 5 were lucky enough to have a visit from some firefighters from Birchwood station today. They talked to the children about fire safety and offered them the chance to experience their smoke tent.

Well done to our Year 6 athletes, who competed in a Sports Hall Athletics tournament against 7 other local schools. After an enjoyable and competitive afternoon, we finished 4th overall, which was a great result. Well done Year 6!
