Featured in interior publications, this beautifully decorated villa with cook service, is set in extensive lawned gardens. An ideal villa for sightseeing or pool side relaxation.

Within easy reach of the vibrant souks of Marrakech as well as the magnificent scenery of the Atlas Mountains and the Ourika Valley, the villa offers a very private, quiet retreat in a location that allows guests to combines a sophisticated city break with exploring the great outdoors. The villa is built around a traditional courtyard, from which the bedrooms are accessed. Four bedrooms are of a good size with en suite bath or shower rooms and open to the terraces with tables and chairs and to the gardens. A fifth bedroom is slightly smaller. One double and one twin bedroom are accessed off a hallway in a corner of the courtyard and the other two bedrooms are accessed from a second hallway in another corner of the courtyard. One of these is the master bedroom. Each bedroom has a furnished terrace. The rest of the house comprises an elegant sitting room with dining area. French doors opening to the courtyard on one side and terrace with soft seating and gardens on the other. The kitchen is well equipped and used by the staff and the dining room is accessed from near the kitchen. On the upper level of the house is a fantastic furnished rooftop terrace offering unparalleled panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, the perfect place for sundowners after a long day of sightseeing.

The cook prepares three meals a day. Madja enjoys cooking for the guests immensely, using fresh ingredients from the vegetable patch such as tomatoes and aubergines, as well as lemons and oranges from the trees at the villa. She prepares a variety of dishes from Moroccan tagines and assorted salads, to Moroccan breads and a range of beautiful desserts - her favourite dessert is tart a l'orange. She also enjoys taking a lot of care over the setting in which guests enjoy their meals. The style of the table settings is different for each meal and thoughtfully planned between the dining room and the outdoor terrace. The tables are laid with block printed tablecloths from India and ceramics, glassware and cutlery from Morocco, while freshly cut roses and herbs from the garden add the finishing touches.

The extensive, beautifully designed gardens which have recently been greatly improved with lighting, further seating areas are magnificent. There is table tennis leading to the large private pool with pretty shaded soft seating and pool house.

Good luck to all the kiddies going back to school this week. Back to routine for us all! 🩷🩵

There was no issue with sentimentality and nostalgia this morning in my house. My son gave me 10 seconds for photos, that was it. My daughter, despite me waking her at 6.30am as requested, serving her warm choc chip brioche and milk for breakie, straightening her hair for her, making sure she had ice water for her school bag… she was still running late and gave me a dirty look as she left! And yes the skirt is rolled over!

This Mama is off to the gym. Have a good day kids! Love you! 🩷🩵

As a Mum and a Business Owner I often find the school holidays a little bit like juggling jelly to be honest. Do you? 🧡

How do you manage the holidays and run a business or work at the same time? Do you have a plan or wing it? I work part time in the office during the school summer holidays and I tend to get up before anyone wakes and work and then work in the evening to try and keep up. Inevitably, I don’t get anywhere near as much done as normal but it’s important to me that I spend as much time with my children now, before they grow up and don’t want to…but it’s a juggle for sure! 🧡

This Summer we’ve been very fortunate to do lots of travelling. They joined me ‘On Location’ in the Maldives at the start of the holidays, then we did our annual trip to Rhosneigr followed by a family and friends holiday in Greece. It’s been a brilliant Summer and being away so much has made the holidays fly by, for the first time ever! 🧡

Thank you to my clients for understanding that I may take a little longer to get back to you at the moment, it’s appreciated. Normal office hours and response times will resume next week, the 4th September. I already have a waiting list and some lovely enquiries to work on, so thank you 🧡
