Looking after our heritage. We are pleased to have repointed both Historic England listed cottages on the farm side and installed patio doors to Coutts’ Roost, providing guests with an even better experience during their stay (a recent guest said she’d give us 6 stars if she could!). Thanks to .ray00 for doing a brilliant job, as always.

The snug in Coutts’ Roost is a beautiful place to look out over the valley for a peaceful read of a favourite book 📖. We’re pleased the sun is shining for our guests this weekend 🌞.

🎄 Christmas at Merrifield’s 🎄

We’ve had a cancellation today, meaning that both cottages are available over Christmas 2024. Coutts’ Roost is in the top 1% on Airbnb - we’ll take that 👏🏻. It’s so beautiful here this month. The birds are singing, flowers are out and horses & sheep are contentedly grazing in the fields.
