Lavender Cottage is a beautiful holiday cottage, located in the South Downs National Park. The twin beds can be joined to make a super kingsize bed!

Lavender Cottage boasts two enchanting bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with its own bathroom (one with a bath and shower, the other with a shower). There is a vaulted open plan living, dining and kitchen space with French windows onto its own private terrace. It combines great comfort with a contemporary feel. It has a modern style gas fire (which looks like a contemporary wood burning sto

ve) providing a focal point and a brand new well-equipped kitchen and lots of storage. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A large armoire houses all the china, glass and other crockery. Comfortable sofas, rugs and colourful paintings complete the contemporary and cosy scene. There is a travel cot and a highchair for those who need them. The terrace is surrounded with lavender and aromatic herbs in raised beds, and equipped with a table and chairs for 6 people, and a barbecue.

Haven’t posted any pics for ages so here we go again! Serious deep-cleaning and titivating going on in the cottage this week. The new season proper starts on Monday and we know it’s going to be busy!

Our Story

It has a modern style gas fire (which looks like a contemporary wood burning stove) providing a focal point and a brand new well-equipped kitchen and lots of storage. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A large armoire houses all the china, glass and other crockery. Comfortable sofas, bookcases holding books and games, rugs and colourful paintings complete the contemporary and cosy scene. There is a travel cot and a highchair for those who need them. The terrace is surrounded with lavender, rosemary and aromatic herbs in raised beds, and equipped with a table and chairs for 6 people, and a barbecue.
