We would like to thank those who called, left messages and emailed to check in.

We are thankful to have seen no acts of violence or unrest at Victoria Centre or Wellingborough (to the best of our knowledge) and for now, we operate with business as usual. In the hopes that the present situation of unrest across the country restores to one of calm as soon as practically possible, we hope everyone stays safe and well.

These are sad times indeed!

We too share your concerns on safety. Rest assured that, should the safety of our visitors be compromised in any way, we would update those required and we would execute our emergency procedures.

Our thoughts go out to those who are directly effected.

We are having so much fun at holiday club, yesterday we went to Wellingborough museum. We had a demonstration of the air-raid siren, watched the trains, explored the history and enjoyed learning about the Olympics.

An urgent message for our Preschool Parents.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the entrance to the Preschool of Victoria Centre has been obstructed and is not in use for approx. 2 weeks.

Please park your car as safely as possible and enter via the reception of the main building. Please then head to the Bailey Room (first door on the left) and press the black doorbell for entry.

One the first day, there will be staff marshalling to help with this.

Thank you for your understanding.

Parents are reminded there is a carpark to the rear of the building. Please park respectfully for our neighbours.

Can you help?

Due to the nature of roadworks outside of VC we need some extra CCTV aids to help us with monitoring and safeguarding.

Are you able to donate a working tablet that we are able to use for remote access this does not need to be new but it will need to be capable of connecting to the internet - any support would be gratefully appreciated?

Thank you

We have had so much fun this week, we cant believe we only have one day left of holiday club.
We made a wonderful Splatoon master piece using different tool such as fly swatters, rollers and sponges. We made banana sushi, they were delicious and today we observed water turn into ice, it was amazing.
Tomorrow we will be making boats, will they sink or will they float.

Invitation to members and prospective members on behalf of the Members Advisory Group

*Please note this is not an invitation to the Annual General Meeting - dates will be announced soon - membership forms will be available on the 28th for those who wish to sign up*

You are all invited to an informal planning evening with hot drinks and biscuits to meet other members and friends and to discuss developing the MAG committee. The MAG (or Members Advisory Group) was set up after the Special General Meeting in September 2023.

The meeting will also need to ask for someone to represent the members on the Management Committee. This person would not be a trustee but would contribute ideas from members to the trustees and also provide an opportunity for trustees to consult with members.

A notetaker for this MAG meeting will also be needed.

This is an important meeting in terms of everyone working together and understanding each other’s roles. Everyone has something to contribute to the Victoria Centre vision.

Meeting date: Tuesday 28th May 2024

Time: 6.00pm arrival for 6.15 pm start
Finish 8.15 pm

RSVP to [email protected] by 24th May 2024!!

(you must RSVP to attend so we can prepare for seating)

Accompanying papers (On request only)
