Thank you to everyone who supported Igor Costa with his recent challenge 🤩

Over £4100 raised for Movember!! 👏

I am happy to announce that after precisely 23 hours and 50 mins of continuous climbing the boys completed their Everest Rope climb challenge. 🫡

This has to be one of the most mentally and physically taxing events we have ever under taken.

The lads were incredible from start to finish and should be extremely proud of what they managed to achieve this weekend. I felt very privileged to have completed this challenge with such a strong team by my side.

We were all blown away with the support we received throughout the challenge. We had people turning up all hours of the night supplying us with much needed morale. It made me appreciate what an incredible community we have created.

A massive thank you to all those who came down to our cake sale this morning and donated/ ate the incredible cakes you all made!! It was great to have nearly a 100 of you watching us finish our final climbs. We were hurting and It really helped!! 🙏

Special Shoutouts need to be given to the following individuals who made this challenge possible.

for being head of media for this campaign. It makes such a difference having such a talented videographer when doing something like this

for being head of tech. Pat created our landing page for our progress tracker and set up our much needed digital counter.

for lending us the crash mat so nobody got injured.

Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership - SASP have launched their new Unbreakable Men app with a range of tools to improve men's physical and mental health. Features include a mental health MOT quiz, useful resources, access to local events and even a crisis line for those in need. It's available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.

Do you know a dad, son, nephew, cousin, grandad, friend or neighbour that may benefit from a warm, open safe space to talk?

Why not get them to pop over to the next session of which is a free, peer-to-peer talking group with other men in similar places on Thursday 31st October (Halloween evening, no need to dress up!!) at Somerset County Cricket Club

The sessions are every other Thursday 18:30-20:30 for any man 18+, we have over 150 groups across the UK, arranging from Talk & Listen, Talk & Exercise, Talking Therapies as well as online.

No need to book, just turn up, make a brew and take a seat!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sushi for organising Noah's Legacy Laps in memory of her son, ‘the raddest little guy to ever grace the Mario Kart track’, and for raising a fantastic £2600 for CHSW in celebration of his 11th birthday 'in true chaotic style'.

Noah's legacy laps was an online, streamed, Mario Kart racing tournament and is a flagship part of our Game On! campaign.

Sushi visited Little Bridge House to handover the donation and to deliver a custom-made sofa for the hospice, donated from the company she works for - Modus Furniture

Big thanks to James Latham PLC in Bristol donating the wood, Pritex in Wellington for supplying the foam and Camira Fabrics in West Yorkshire for kindly delivering the fabric 💚

There are already plans for next year's Legacy Laps which will be even bigger and we think the sofa will make for the perfect gaming space!
