Allspan UK Ltd are specialists in erecting high quality Marquees and Temporary Structures throughout London, the South East and Kent and are now looking to recruit the following positions:-
Marquee Erector/Riggers
The successful applicants will need to have a love of the outdoors, be presentable and reliable, with good communication skills, and the ability to think on their feet. They will also be able to show initiative, attention to detail and be able to work as part of a small and friendly like-minded team.
Previous experience in the building and dismantling of marquees and temporary structures would be an advantage but not necessary, as on-job training will be given.
Due to the nature of the work, you must be in good physical condition, as the work can be physically demanding. A flexible approach to working hours is also required as during the summer season there may be long hours, early starts and late finishes but pay is competitive depending on your age and experience. Fluency in English is also required.
As well as erecting and dismantling our structures, you will also be required to carry out other related duties including loading, cleaning and maintenance of all the equipment.
A Full UK Driving Licence and your own transport to our Yard in West Kingsdown is essential and the ability to drive a 7.5 ton vehicle would be an advantage
Basic Hours - 45 hours a week - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm plus Overtime at your hourly rate
Self-employed and short term contracts can also be considered

We are a leading family run Marquee & Equipment Hire business based in West Kingsdown in Kent and are looking for Full and Part-Time Marquee Crew to help erect and dismantle premium quality marquees and temporary structures, across London and the South East, during our busy summer season.

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential as on the job training will be given but the role would suit someone with practical capabilities. You must have the ability to learn quickly, follow instruction and have a strong work ethic. The job is physically demanding so you will also need to be in good physical shape and be willing to work hard. In reward, you will learn new skills and experience whilst being part of a great team of like-minded individuals. There will be long hours, early starts and late finishes, and some weekend work but pay is competitive and there may be an opportunity to join the team on a full-time basis.
