Can’t stress this enough, despite the mis leading signs that are aimed at diverting THROUGH traffic, Looe is still very much accessible. From our side you can drive to the Millpool car park AS NORMAL and walk into Looe.

PLEASE REMEMBER

Looe & Polperro are very much open for business during the road works period.

Access to East Looe is in the very same way as normal; West Looe & Hannafore too and usually good parking availability on West Looe Quay.

If you are Travelling to Polperro, from Liskeard/Callington or Saltash/Plymouth, follow the diversions along the A38 - the overall journey time is just 10 mins longer.

Back in 2012 (I cannot believe that was 12 years ago already) we visited Caerhayes Castle here on the south cast of Cornwall on a memorable weekend with friends. You could have knocked me down with a feather had you told me that weekend that 6 years later we would live just up the coast. We never know where life will take us, so choose a fun route with nice scenery when you can!
