Perfect house for family Christmas

Left on Dec 28, 2023 for a stay in Dec 2023.

The Beach House is a very comfortable holiday home. Each of the 5 en-suite bedrooms are beautifully decorated and feel like high quality hotel rooms. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and it was very easy for multiple chefs to work in on Christmas Day! The house accommodated our large family group perfectly. There was plenty of room to find your own bit of space, but also to sit together as a family and play silly games. The pool table was a big hit and many competitions were won and lost! There was ample parking for our 3 cars and, as the beach was right in front of the house, there was no need to use the cars again during our stay as everything we needed was in walking distance. We received a very warm welcome from owners Sean and Deanna who not only took the time to show us around the house but also left a fabulous welcome pack filled with delicious goodies. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Beach House, which played a major part in it being one of the best Christmas gatherings we’ve had as a family in a number of years. We highly recommend a stay in this lovely holiday home.

Our beachfront five bedroom all en suite house currently has a family enjoying Christmas there now.

This family reserved their date last December to ensure they had their first choice holiday home for this Christmas.

The Carnival Route.

Not long to go until the brilliant Weston-super-Mare Carnival. The parade starts at 1900hrs on Friday 10th November from Locking Road carpark and the end point is on the Sea Front by the Pirate Golf, last cart through at approx 2130.

The parade is a free to watch event, but please support all those involved by donating through the charity bucket collection on the night, throw your coins into the collection vehicles or through the carnival website: www.westoncarnival.co.uk

Important information for visitors and local residents:
Road Closures and Enforced Vehicle Removal will be in place.

Parking on any of the roads on the RED route.
Temporary road closure notices will be in place. There is a parking suspension on the red route - Alfred Street, Boulevard, Waterloo Street, South Parade and Royal Parade from 1530 on Friday 10th November 2023 (Parade Day). Enforcement tickets will be issued to any vehicle on the route after this time. For the safety and security of the event any vehicle parked on the parade route in the lead up to and after the road closures at 17.30 on Friday 10th November could be authorised by the Police to be physically removed.

We really did not see this coming!
Deanna and I have been welcoming guests to our family run accommodation business in Weston Super Mare since 2002 when we purchased a beachfront building that happened to have some of the apartments operating as holiday lets. As experienced residential landlords already, we knew very little about holiday letting, but we decided to honour the existing bookings so not to disappoint families that had already booked with the previous owners. We thought that after the existing bookings were completed we would change the use to residential.
However we discovered that we enjoyed the new to us aspect of holiday letting accommodation.
As newbies to the holiday letting business we quickly learnt what was important to our arriving guests and their expectations.
Throughout the years we added properties to our business along Weston Super Mare’s seafront no longer daunted by the holiday trade and the expectations of guests. In fact we expanded this part of our business adding The Kyrenia on Beach Road and The Beach House which are both opposite the Tropicana and Beach Lawns.
Back when we first set up in the holiday trade, renting holiday lets was a lot stricter and it was a requirement to be independently rated and graded either by our own local tourist association or a national accreditation agency such as the AA or Visit Britain in those days

Deanna and I believe that every guest deserves the best treatment and service we can offer them which begins at their enquiry.
We received this email about a month ago and were genuinely shocked as we were totally unaware of being considered for this award and email below.
