📢📢 Knife Angel - May 2024 📢📢

The Knife Angel Project - art with a message - is coming to Weston-super-Mare's Italian Gardens in May this year.

The 27ft tall Knife Angel statue has been created from more than 100,000 knives and blades which have been confiscated by police throughout the UK.

It was designed by Alfie Bradley art at the British Ironwork Centre as a monument against violence and aggression and will tour the country. Its visit to Weston will coincide with a knife amnesty.

Explore Brean Down this Easter Bank Holiday weekend as you follow our trail along the beach and up the down. Search for shells, wildlife and landmarks – you’ll be rewarded with a chocolate egg at the end. Have a go at Easter crafts in the café too.

Free admission, £3 per trail, includes an Easter trail sheet and a chocolate egg, or a vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate egg, both made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Car-parking charges for non-members apply.
