Something magical is happening on Northam Burrows this summer! Fairies, trolls and pixies have headed to the beach for their summer holidays. Can you spot where they are camping?! Drop in to the visitor centre from Thursday 25th July to start your self guided trail and join in with some magical craft activities.

Access will be easier when completed

Unfortunately works to rebuild the beach access at Sandymere bridge have taken longer than expected.

The bridge is likely to remain closed until Friday 19/7/24.

We've been working hard to get the beach cottage ready for the summer season. To give a bit more flexibility to the twin room (so two twins can be pushed together to make a double) the wardrobe has been removed. Walls have been lined with thermal liner and wallrock smooth liner. Our next job is to paint the bedroom, ceiling and woodwork before fitting new wall cupboards. After a day getting things ready for the summer season, we ate out. On the way back we saw this stunning sunset.... No filters... Lundy just on the horizon... The Rockpool was still completely covered. The sound of the waves is so relaxing...

If you are in Westward Ho! on Thursday this Rockpool Ramble looks like a really interesting event hosted by Northam Burrows Country Park. Did you know that the Country Park is within the North Devon Coast AONB and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Hopefully there will be more events throughout the year...
