Local, and family run businesses! All the skippers in our group are local to Weymouth, and grown up working on the sea! Clem grew up in Weymouth, sailing with his father (Mike Carter- a very famous signwriter around Weymouth) he then spent years commercial fishing on the crabbers before running a successful charter business ‘Wild Frontier’ for 20 years! He has now been at the steps for 5 years!

What an interesting day, apart from some very welcome autumn sun and slight winds, we saw the helicopter lifting from the lifeboat, a boat plane, the rowing gigs dressed as pirates, rooster moored in the harbour and Marili entering the harbour. A fine day! ⛵️

Today in the port! Regal Princess returned again in the morning, offshore supply ship Sterling castle came inside the breakwaters and the tugs put on a show bringing in the tanker Sloman H**e. All that, with a cooling sea breeze thrown in for good measure in this glorious weather! Hour long trips running from the ferry steps in Weymouth. Weymouth and portland boat trips
