When I was a teenager in the late 1980s, it was very fashionable to have posters of the impressionist artists - and I was no different, I had loads on my bedroom wall. My absolute favourite of the impressionists was Monet, and especially his water lily paintings. Fast forward 30+ years and I found myself trying to recreate that painting through the art of photography, and not in France, but much closer to home in Weymouth! Bennetts Water Gardens have done an amazing job on recreating Monet’s most famous scene. Can’t believe I’ve lived in Dorset for 23 years and this is the first time I’ve visited here! It won’t be the last.

Schools is soon out for Summer and the The Official Test Centre (OTC) summer camp is in!

Is your child aged between 8 and 16 years of age?

Would they like to spend their summer at The OTC? Our summer camps are running from the 5th-9th of August 2024 and 19th-23rd of August 2024.

All abilities welcome and are split into three groups;
1. Beginner/Refresher
2. Early Intermediate
3. Intermediate Plus

The camp runs Monday - Friday, from 10am - 5pm.

Here’s the technical bit…

Beginner/Refresher levels must start on the Monday and Tuesday completing a two day RYA Course, then continue the learning for the rest of the week.

Other levels of windsurfers can select which days they start on. Multiple days must run consecutively.
