Dunster by Candle Light 2023 Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd December. Open to everyone with free admission.
The medieval village of Dunster (located just down the road from our cottages) is the setting for the wonderful Dunster by Candlelight event which takes place on the first Friday and Saturday of December every year. A special park & ride bus runs from the market car park at Wheddon Cross Village down to Dunster on both evenings of the festival avoiding any parking issues.
We have two cottages currently available to book over this weekend, it could be the perfect time to enjoy a visit to Exmoor!
Our cottages are perfect for a family getaway on beautiful Exmoor.

We currently have rare availability in the following cottages over the Easter half term:

Red Deer Cottage 🦌 (sleeps 6) - a stunning barn conversion with a fantastic open plan living area, 3 gorgeous bedrooms and a large garden space including BBQ and seating area.

Barn Owl Cottage 🦉 (sleeps 4) - a beautiful cottage with 2 bedrooms, spacious ground floor with kitchen diner, sitting room and relaxing garden room. Complete with a large garden with seating area, as well as an exclusive small wooded area.

Both are perfect for a family get together and have Exmoor right on their doorsteps!

Both cottages are also pet friendly and allow up to 2 pets 🐶

✨Snowdrop Valley✨

The beautiful Snowdrop Valley near Wheddon Cross will be open to the public from Saturday 28th January - Sunday 26th February 2023.

With many walking routes and a 'taxi' service being ran from Wheddon Cross, our cottages at Quarme Coombe Holiday Cottages are a perfect base for exploring the carpet of snowdrops in the woods.

We do currently have availability in our cottages across this period so why not grab your walking boots and book a stay? 🥾

We are staying at Red Deer one of the Quarme Coombe Holiday Cottages near to Wheddon Cross on Exmoor, it’s another cottage and is perfect for the 5 of us plus the dog. Amazing garden and fields and woods to explore
