We have seen a number of the Whales over the last few trips ... stunning

A big gathering of Minke Whale is happening this morning off Staithes, Ian Boustead a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust marine surveyor has seen 19 Minke Whale with one scan of his telescope at 07.30. The Whales migrate to the North Yorkshire coast each year at this time to eat Herring that spawn in the sea around Whitby and Staithes. (Library photo)
