Despite the financial climate we have been very busy at the Loft, so thank you to all of you who have stayed
during the year.

I thought I would let you know about availability for the rest of the year.

We have the 30th of October ( Monday ) to the 4th of November, that's 6 nights
and that could go for £440 ( it's in the half term period )

Then we have the 18th to 25th of November at £430

The 25th of November to Friday the 1st of December ( 6 nights ) at £350

Then it's available from the 16th of December right the way through to 27th of December
I can be flexible on that period so I am open to suggestions.

In January we have a six day opportunity ( let's get 2024 off to a good start ! )
That's Sunday the 14th of January to Saturday the 20th how about £330 ?

I though I would let you know how availability is looking re. the Loft.

We have 2 or 3 nights, (depending on how quickly you can pack your bags)
this week; that's starting tonight !
So, tonight, (Tuesday) Wednesday and Thursday Night ( 3 nights ) leaving Friday morning £240
If you can't come till tomorrow, and do two nights, how about £220 ?

After this week we have some free time next week:
Monday the 17th to Saturday the 22nd that's 5 nights and the price is £360.

That's it till late June and then we have June 17th to June 24th that's a Sat. to Sat. at £510
and a couple of days following that:
Sat. the 24th and Sunday the 25th £280

The rest of the summer is fully booked, the next dates being the 27th of September onwards.

I am writing to wish you a belated Happy Christmas and send my best wished for a happy a prosperous 2023. I know that we’re all suffering from the cost-of-living crisis. I hope it’s not too difficult for you and I know we’ll see it through one way or another.
With this in mind I have held the 2022 prices for the next year (the new tariffs will be on the website soon) so I hope that helps.

Also, cookie has some important news.

Guests are now welcome to bring one well behaved dog (there is a one-off charge of ten pounds).

We’ve been asked many times, so now we have decided to allow our four-legged friends to come on holiday as well.

Due to a change in circumstances one of our regular Loft Dwelling couples have had to
change their holiday dates.

So, this means that we have a week available in July. It's the 16th to the 23rd.

After that, just two weeks left in September, that's the 3rd to the 10th and the 24th to the 1st of

Dear guests,

I hope all is well and that you are coping with our good friend the Covid bug

( on the basis that we need to keep our friends close and our enemies even closer ! )

We are, as we have been doing for some while, giving the Loft a right good sanitising between each booking.

We also use a fogger to dispense a purpose designed biocidal spray fluid to further kill any Covid that might be hiding.

So, I hope that will give you all some reassurance regarding the current epidemic.



Regarding the Loft, we have a few available weeks coming up, and a couple of short breaks, I will give you the details :



Wednesday the 2nd of February to Friday the 4th, that's 2 nights and the price for that one is £170

Sunday the 6th of February to Saturday the 12th ( 6 nights )....£370

Dear Guests and Prospective Guests,

It's been an unusual year to say the least.
I hope you are all managing to keep well and 'Keeping your Peckers up' as they say !
I have been asked by a prospective guest what my terms and conditions are, so I thought it was time to
put a new section on the website, it's nothing ground-breaking but I thought it was a good time with the Corvid 19 being around.

Regarding the Coronavirus I have put a section on the website that details all the precautions that we have in place and the Terms and Conditions section
has a heading relating to the present situation. Regarding that one, basically if you have to Cancel because of Government Guidelines we will either Re-schedule your Holiday or offer a full refund.

Regarding the Zone that you are in and the Guidance in that zone I am trusting all my guests to make their own decisions as to their travel arrangements.
I know you will be responsible regarding Social Distancing when you get to Robin Hoods Bay.
The Loft will be made safe.

So, there we are, ....Spring is just around the Corner and the Lurgi WILL go away, it's a WHEN not an IF !

Dear Guests,

Firstly, I am writing to wish you all the best and hope that you have been and are continuing to bear up in the Covid 19 crisis.
It looks as though we have got a bit more to go yet so we must try to stay positive and look for the bright side.

The Loft is back in action and Sarah and the girls are going that bit further with their Biocidal Cleaners and Cushion Covers rotation etc.

As some of you will know, we have re scheduled a few holidays to next year and 2021 is beginning to fill up.
As for this year, many of the early bookings have been moved forward and together with an increased demand for UK holidays we
are getting booked up.

So ! that's the other reason for my e mail, to let you know of remaining availability 🙂

The next available week is W/C the 12th of September and that's priced at £490
After that it's W/C 24th of October and that one is also £490

In November the first 3 weeks are still available too.

There we have it, a funny old year as they say !
