Psalm 136
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.

Another Sunday, who would have believed we would be here. It is at times so difficult to give thanks but we must try to remember that God’s love does endure for ever
Today we have a message from Sister Heather Francis, a Sister from St Hilda's Priory in Whitby
Why should we give thanks?
God is Creator, God is Saviour, God is Helper.
As Mother Julian of Norwich said of the little hazelnut that was so small, she wondered how it could continue to exist,
"God made it, God loves it, God keeps it". Welcome aboard! We are in safe hands!

In these difficult times it is easy to worry and be afraid – its normal and OK but let this verse and hymn speak to you.
Rev. Alison Marshall comments as a member of the Iona Community she spent several years on Iona leading workshops and services in the Abbey!
In last Sundays gospel reading in John 20 Jesus appeared to the disciples three times and each time said Peace be with you, peace is not something achieved once and for all but something we need to keep receiving. Peace is the antidote to fear and the risen Jesus comes to us today too and says peace be with you, don’t be afraid because the God who created this wonderful world knows you, knows you intimately and loves you and is with you, this God has done everything for you that you really need, so receive, and keep on receiving his grace and love and peace.

North Yorkshire is undoubtedly one of the beautiful counties in the UK but its diverse landscapes will still be there once restrictions have been lifted. Please stay at home and do not travel unless you have to make essential journeys.

Beautiful rainbow. Hot of the press news, we have sold Craigmore- we have been thinking about it for a time and it has been sold to someone as a permanent residence so we are thrilled. The Porthole will still be available for 2 people for a min of 2 nights and we do hope we will see some of you there. Thank you to all our guests who have stayed at Craigmore we have loved doing it and meeting everyone but it is time for a change.
