Regatta rowing times can all be found in the programme, as well as details of all the other events.

No greasy pole this year due to circumstances beyond our control with the pier being closed for safety work.

You have until the Wednesday after regatta to complete the treasure hunt.

Red Arrows - weather permitting - will now perform at the slightly later time of 1.30pm on Saturday, rather than the 12.30pm stated in the programme.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be on Sunday - weather permitting - times to be confirmed by the BBMF and shared via Facebook and Twitter as well as over the tannoy.

The fair begins to roll into town at approximately 9pm on Sunday night - bring your cameras!

Fireworks round things off on Monday from 9.45pm.

Of course, during the course of the event we'll update you here and over the tannoy.

WARNING - NO DRONES - during Red Arrows display otherwise the display will simply be cancelled. Also no drones during the fireworks display, thank you.

Held at Whitby Mission & Seafarers' Centre.
We have over 30 beers and ciders available to taste from award-winning local and regional independent breweries.
We will be open Thursday to Saturday 12 Noon until 22:00 and Sunday 12 Noon until 16:00. With all the money raised going to support the work of Whitby District Lions Club who support local charities, good causes and their fleet of disability scooters.

Over the Easter break we will be opening up part of our hatchery. Situated on Pier Road, Whitby you can come and learn more about our project, meet our team (including Desmond) and get a free sticker. What's not to like?!

We will be selling Whitby Lobster Merchandise with all proceeds going directly to supporting the work of our charity.

Plus we are offering pay as you feel ~30minute guided tours of the hatchery giving fascinating information about Whitby's fishing history and heritage, detailed explanation of our hatchery equipment, meet Dolly plus hold a lobster. Get in touch or come to see us to book! (11am, 1pm + 3pm)

🎄From today Christmas shoppers will be able to enjoy free car parking every day in and .

🎁We're supporting the retail community to bounce back from the challenges of Christmas 2020 by suspending charges in some of our off-street car parks all day, every day this month.

We're hoping that for those who cannot walk or take public transport to the town centres, the free parking will encourage them to spend their Christmas pounds locally instead of travelling further afield or paying for deliveries online.

🚗 In Scarborough, the free parking offer applies to the following off-street car parks: Castle Road, Falconers Road, Friarsway, North Street, North Terrace, St Nicholas Parade, St Thomas Street, Victoria Road, Westwood and William Street.

🚗 In Whitby, free parking will be available at Church Street, Cliff Street, Marina Back, Marina Front, Endeavour Wharf and St Hilda’s Terrace car parks.

Charges will apply in all other car parks and to on-street parking.

Our car parks in Filey and the borough’s coastal villages are already free at this time of year.
