🐊 The Mystery of the Crocodile Door Knocker! 🐊

When we asked for suggestions for a new door knocker at Dock Cottage, we had some brilliant ideas—boats, anchors, lighthouses, even a lobster! But in the end, my husband made the final call… and now we have a crocodile! 🐊

Why a crocodile, you ask? Well, there’s a story behind it! If you spot him, be sure to ask—he’ll love to tell you! 😉

Heading to Smuggler's Inn for pizza tonight 😋

The Smugglers' Inn in Robin Hood's Bay is a 17th-century pub that serves local craft ales in a cosy, candlelit bar with open fires.

I was in The Old Drapery and Holly the owner was explaining to a customer that the cash she had just spent on a hat would stay local and go back into the village.

As she would use the money to buy a drink at the Laurel, then buy her son an ice cream at Dollies. So when you visit and shop locally it really does support the village.
