There is also a well-equipped kitchen with a fold-down dining table and sumptuous seating in which to sink into after a busy day exploring. A two-minute walk brings you into the hub of this thriving historic town, with restaurants, pubs and independent shops all on the doorstep. Wander around the quaint narrow streets, enjoy coffee and cakes in one of the many tea rooms, or enjoy a cocktail in a harbourside bar. An absolute must are the renowned Whitby fish and chips, and a climb up the 199 steps is well-worth the effort for the panoramic views along the coastline. The surrounding countryside of the North York Moors National Park is stunning and there are many drives along this dramatic stretch of heritage coastline. Accommodation
