Santa will be in his grotto between 11am and 3pm both days. His sleigh and reindeer will be parked outside for photo opportunities.

Due to the current weather conditions and flooding along with the ongoing forecast Danby Lodge will be closed tomorrow to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors. We apologise for any inconvenience but keep safe everyone and come and see us next week.

📣 Important announcement: Danby Lodge closure.

Danby Lodge National Park Centre will be closed from 1pm on Thursday 12 December, the grounds and Park Life Café will remain open until 4pm.

The North York Moors in all their glory!!

The views this morning over Commondale Moor and Castleton Moor were stunning and diverse, as always.

The sun is shining here at Danby Lodge National Park Centre today. Come for a drive through this beautiful part of the world.

Bring the family for a walk around the grounds and enjoy our Snowman Trail. Each of our snowmen are missing something. Can you solve the clues to help them discover what it is?

The snow has stopped and the roads have cleared slightly so we are going to open the Centre. The cafe will remain closed but come along and do your Christmas shopping locally ⛄️
