Whitby in the winter is a much quieter place but often gives the best in the way of sunrises and sunsets. I love being out early and watching the sun work its way back towards the sea is lovely.

How exciting! Steam to Whitby after Christmas. It is lovely seeing the train pass under the Viaduct. We have short breaks available in Capstan. The balcony looks straight into the Viaduct.... A fabulous view.
