This made us extremely proud! We take our little people VERY seriously. Come and explore our play den, our children’s library and all the games we have tucked away… Also, we have a high chair, plenty of cups, plates and cutlery, a travel cot and plenty of paper and crayons for your little artists to create masterpieces!

We’re back from a week at Belle Cottage… and we didn’t take our paintbrushes, drills or screwdrivers - we just played and rested. I swam in the sea every day with Izzy, she ate ice cream, spent her ‘pocket money’ in the charity shops (sparkly notebook, tick) and she also went crabbing for the first time with her grandparents, who visited us there. It felt so special. I’m extremely proud to have created a beautiful little haven in Whitstable, which we can share with all of you! We can’t wait to go back and hope you all love it there as much as we do 💛

When it came to creating the bathroom, the large cast-iron bath was non-negotiable. As was the separate shower (out of shot). Oh, also lots of light, a pink floor, and a sanctuary vibe.

From then to now (swipe for the before). Without all the crazy in between. I’m back at Belle Cottage tomorrow, for FINISHING TOUCHES! (Punch me). (I mean pinch me). (I didn’t want to change it as it made me laugh). I’m on plants, flowers, coasters and teatowel duty. I’m on pillow fluffing and sofa styling. Fresh coffee, tea and welcome pack printing. I then will be taking all the pics for our Airbnb listing to go live (did someone say LIVE?) next week and then I shall collapse in a heap and probably have a cry and then take myself out for a cinnamon bun.

Couldn’t be prouder of my scalloped wall! Thanks to ’ stencils and - I feel like a bit of a pro 😎 (I’m not). This has transformed the room and we’re just waiting on some shelves (watching the post like a hawk) to complete it. I’ll be popping to later to choose a few books to pop in the shelves when they arrive… nearly there nearly there nearly there NEARLY THERE!

New door, new colours, new shutters, new amazing empty parking space in front of the house so I could take a photo! I’m feeling very proud today 💕 (About the work we’ve done, not the empty parking space).

(Although I did stand in the middle of the road and therefore risked my life to get this snap).
