Today’s new walk..Whitehaven to Fleswick Bay and back. This is the first part of theCoast to Coast Walk, and this stretch of coastline is the only designated Heritage Coast in Cumbria. An RSPB nature reserve on the headland is home to England's only colony of Black Guillemots.

Beautiful walk with my friends today around Derwent Water…fuelled by scones and coffee from Mary Mount Hotel.
Yesterday Paul and I had a lovely visit to Ullswater. Breakfast at the Crown Hotel, Ullswater Steamer to Howtown and a 2 hour walk then back on the steamer to Glenridding for lunch then back to Pooley Bridge to collect the car and drive home. Absolutely beautiful day and only 30 minutes from Fieldside View. Ullswater is so beautiful and well worth a visit.

We have more guests arriving tomorrow so after work tonight Paul and I had pellets to move and the patio furniture to wipe down. As I was working from home today I thought I would make a start but Dolly was having none of it and kept hiding my gloves. What a girl !
