Sunday paddle to the pub!!
How do you fancy a 5 mile canal paddle Adventure this Sunday 14th April 10am?
Just like you, we at Trent Adventure are fed up with the wet weather!!
Sunday is currently looking good so how about joining us and getting out in the fresh air for a lovely canal trip. This option is great for family and friends and you can grab a well earned drink at the Clock Warehouse Pub in Shardlow.
End the Easter holidays on a high!

We are brushing up on maintenance between guests when we get the chance. It's a bit chilly out. Not really warm enough to sit out on the deck until the sun comes back, but we'll be ready ☀️
These big screens were originally partitions from inside the horsebox. Great repurposing from Robin; his speciality!

Martin Green and Jennings are occupied by members of the same family this weekend, which happens from time to time. They have the site to themselves when canoeing is over for the day (although that isn't at all disruptive, to be honest!)
This angle makes the two horseboxes seem closer together than they actually are. In fact, they are very carefully positioned to be private spaces in their own right.

Changeover day for Jennings and a little repair on a USB charging port (we are off grid, and have no 3 pin plug sockets but enough solar power to charge a mobile or tablet, no bother)
It's a good job that Robin is handy, and has the foresight (luck?!) to carry spares! We don't get long between guests to do everything 🌞

Good morning.
Following on from the success of our last event, Trent Adventure will be hosting a second social paddle for the SUP community on Bank holiday Monday 30th of August starting at 5.30 pm
The paddle will take place on the river Trent starting at Newton Solent and finishing at the Trent Adventure base at Twyford for a total of 5 miles.
Secure parking at Trent Adventure and shuttle to the start point at Newton Solney is provided.
Please bring your own equipment. Buoyancy aids are mandatory on the river but don’t worry if you don’t have one as we can supply.
An experienced river guide will be accompanying the trip who will happily provide tips on river paddling and reading water.
Cost will be £15 per person to cover transport and parking.

One our lovely guests should have been on holiday in Africa today, instead they ended up in lovely Derbyshire .
The local cows tried their best to put on a show worthy of any herd of wilderbeast by the river Limpopo ( Trent)

Midsummer evening view from Jennings' rear deck. We managed to stay there for a couple of nights last week; perks of the job I guess, but Robin spent most of the time noticing tiny things that needed 'doing' 🤣
I hope you manage to find somewhere where you can switch off and get away from it all! Some space in Jennings in August.
