As you know - our Windmill is highly photogenic - so we think any shots are always winners - but here's your chance to have your photo featured on a calendar. The WImbledon Society has just launched their "Wimbledon Across the Seasons" photo competition - and the 12 winners get a prize and are featured in the 2026 Calanedar.

Their website has all the details - but it's pretty simple!

What types of photos?
Photographs should depict an aspect of life in Wimbledon and its surrounding area, that represents a particular season e.g. nature, horticulture, weather, festivals, fetes, buildings, autumn colours, winter scenes, spring colours and summer activities.

How do I submit?
Please submit photographs - max of 4 per season - by email to both
[email protected] and [email protected].

State the season plus your name, mobile number, email address and a caption for your image

Wednesday 9th October at 8pm we will be hosting Pamela Campbell-Johnston as our lecturer on ‘The Art of Art Deco’.
The lecture will be at the Sacred Heart Hall, Edge Hill, SW19 4LU.
Coffee is available from 7.30pm.
Members free, guests welcome for a suggested £10 per person.

Arts Society Wimbledon on tour 2024 to North Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. We were based in Caenarvon and visited Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr, Bodnant Gardens, Portmeirion, Caenarvon Castle, the Slate Museum, Snowdonia and more!
