Wow, the recent sunrises have been amazing - and I think this morning’s topped the lot. Thankfully I have time to nip down to Poole Harbour before work starts. This is one of a few shots I got down at my favourite local go-to place, Lake Pier. I’m guessing the recent red sky warning mornings will bear fruit now as the rest of the week looks rubbish!

As an accredited botanic garden, Sculpture by the Lakes is an ideal setting for gardening workshops and tutorials.​

We're thrilled to be joined by respected gardeners hosting various workshops over the coming weeks.​

Our garden workshops are very popular and our winter pruning fruit trees workshop is now sold out, but there are spaces still available for these great workshops:​

🌟 Know Before You Go 🌟

The Moors Valley Visitor Centre, Cycle Hire Centre, Visitor Centre toilets, restaurant and indoor seating area will be closed from Monday 13 to Friday 17 January 2025 for annual maintenance work 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Please note, toilets will still be available during this time at Kingsmere Station.

This time allows our rangers to undertake deep cleaning, and maintenance tasks that we're unable to do when open 🛠

The Hay Shed is a thatched roof, semi detached holiday cottage set in open countryside. With parking adjacent to the cottage and a private patio. The cottage has a kitchen with laundry facilities and linen and towels are included for your holiday. The cottage can be booked weekly or for longer stays and can accommodate business travellers as well as guests relocating or a commuting business person. We are unable to accomodate children because of deep water lakes and insurance restrictions. Telephone line with hub for Wi Fi up to 100 Mb/s.
