With all of the accommodation on the ground floor and underfloor heating throughout, the cottage offers a well appointed, light and airy open-plan living and dining space. It has a modern, fully equipped kitchen including an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Relax in front of the cosy woodburner (all wood included), whilst streaming your favourite films & series via the Smart TV. A large bedroom with a very comfy king-size bed, luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and a fabulous walk-in shower with fluffy towels all contribute to you feeling re-energised during your stay. Enjoy al fresco meals in the beautifully designed, Mediterranean style garden, for the sole use of The Stables' guests. Maps are provided for you to enjoy endless walks from our doorstep, with the nearest pub a 20 minute stroll away. Medieval market town Bishop's Waltham is nearby offering a fabulous range of amenities including a traditional butcher, greengrocer & bakery, the best coffee in Hampshire, 3 delis, a sweet shop selling handmade fudge & chocolates, supermarkets as well as countless independent shops, pubs and restaurants. We look forward to seeing you in Woodcote!

🐷Every autumn, pigs are free to roam the New Forest in a tradition called Pannage, eating the acorns and nuts falling from the trees that are poisonous to other Forest animals like ponies.

Pannage this year is from Monday 16 September until Friday 22 November 2024.
