Frequently Asked Questions!
Since advertising our holiday home out yesterday, we've received so many enquiries as well as questions so we wanted to put together a few answers for everyone to see in one place!!
1. Do we accept pets?
It is with regret that we do not accept pets.
2. How many does our caravan sleep?
It has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 in total. One double and 2 x 2 singles.
3. Do I bring my own linen?
We provide linens. You do need to bring your own towels however.
4. What is available on the site?
White Cross Bay is a Park Dean resort, the only with a marina! It has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool bath and sauna, bar & restaurant with evening entertainment, play areas, picnic areas, football pitch, children's activities and a lovely woodland to stroll through. A shop is also on site.
If you enjoy water activities, there is also direct access to Lake Windermere if you bring your own canoes or paddleboards.
5. Do we have to pay any extras?
If you would like to go swimming you book this at reception whilst there and pay them directly.
6. Where is it located?
White Cross Bay is in Cumbria, located in between Ambleside & Bowness On Windermere. With plenty of nearby places to visit, shops, activies such as Brockholes and amazing walks there's always something to have planned.
7. Can I take my boat?
White Cross Bay has its own marina that has space for visitors to bring their own boats providing you book well in advance! You would need to speak to the Marina Manager to check availability! From personal experience, enjoying The Lake on a boat is beautiful in any weather!
