How sweet is our newest cottage in Glenridding? We’ve spent the last few days ordering new kitchens and bathrooms ready for the rip out to start. Once the place is fully renovated I can’t wait to put up a new picket fence and re paint the outside 🏡

Glenridding has been close to our hearts for over 30 years, and while we’ve tried to buy property here before, the timing was never quite right—until now. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve officially signed the paperwork on a 20-year lease with our new tenants today! 🎉

The 200k refit is set to begin next week, and if all goes to plan, they’ll be ready to open their doors to the public at the start of next year.

🌟 Dear Valued Customers,

After 14 incredible years, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of our beloved Flooring Works. We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported us throughout this journey.

As a family-run business, Flooring Works has quite literally been our life’s work until this point. However, we have made the decision to shift our focus to our property business, which will allow us more time with family and doing the things in life we enjoy. 🏌️‍♂️🐕🛫🏖️🎣🏍️🚤

We opened the Hebburn store less than a week after our youngest son Freddy was born, and everything we have is really thanks to Flooring Works. But with Freddy now 14 and competing all over the world, and Danny having just finished his first year at university, we are now looking forward to spending more quality time together as a family.

We want to say a massive thank you to all our amazing fitting teams, especially Steve and Myles, for all their hard work and dedication. The standard of work these lads have turned out for the last decade has been incredible. 👏👏

We also want to thank all of our suppliers, especially Karndean and Amtico, whose unwavering support and trust have been instrumental in our success.
