Fab evening watching The Handlebards perform the best ever version of Midsummer Night’s Dream, four brilliant actresses, many costume changes and a lot of laughs. And it only rained for five minutes! Thanks for a great evening 👏👏👏

Levens Hall bee garden, unbelievably beautiful 🥰🐝. Apart from seeing the bees busy making the head gardeners honey (available in the shop) you can take a tour of the hall itself, along with the gardens and then pop into Levens Kitchen for some amazing food and delicious cakes.

Sometimes we take a walk in the dark just because we can. With no street lamps the only light we see is on the horizon coming from Bowness and of course the sparkling Northern star. A little cloudy tonight so she’s up there by herself, on a clear night she’s accompanied by thousands of friends and you suddenly feel very small in the universe.
