The Boat Hire Company provide luxury, chauffeured private boat hire for up to 12 passengers on the River Thames between Windsor, Maidenhead and Marlow.

We can also accommodate groups of up to 24 guests by adding a second boat.

After a busy summer our vintage boat Fringilla has spent the last couple of weeks having a bit of a pamper…⚓️☺️

She returns to the water early next week with a brand new coat of paint, new name stickers and two very shiny props. And we think she looks rather splendid (if we don’t say so ourselves…)

We can’t wait to start winter cruising again and show off our beautiful vintage boat in all her glory.

The magnificent Cliveden House Hotel; one of the most famous landmarks on the upper stretches of the River Thames ⚓️🥂

Cliveden House is a stunning Georgian property nestled along the banks of the Thames and is best known for the Profuma scandal in the early 1960s.

Guests can travel to Cliveden by boat, where they will be treated to some of the most spectacular views of the mansion on its cliff top location. Why not arrive in true style and book a champagne reception or afternoon tea to accompany your river cruise?

Sir Christopher Wren is a beautiful 4 star hotel, compromising of several characterful buildings clustered around a historic cobbled street by Eton Bridge. A romantic riverside venue that is known for its meeting and events spaces as well as its beautiful summer terrace which overlooks the river Thames.

Nicky and Imran got married at a local riverside wedding venue and took our gorgeous boat Fringilla out following their ceremony for some great photo opportunities and some valuable time alone. We can’t wait to see the professional photos but for now here’s a picture courtesy of our skipper 👨‍✈️

Behind the scenes during Fringilla’s winter maintenance programme…⚓️

We couldn’t let Halloween week pass by without mentioning one of our favourite riverside haunts Oakley Court. Oakley Court is an extraordinary Victorian gothic mansion built on the banks of the River Thames in Bray, Berkshire. In 1949, Oakley Court became home to the British film production company Hammer Films. Hammer shot five films there, including The Man in Black. Hammer also used Oakley Court for the exterior location of horror films such as The Bride’s of Dracula, The Reptile & The Plague of the Zombies 👻✨
