Our Story
The Red Lion is a quality pub/venue in Winsford, offering free live entertainment 6 days a week, a relaxed feel and great home cooked food.
The Red is the home of the vibrant creative community living in Winsford and boasts sessions such as the 10 year standing Wednesday night open mic presented every week by the fantastic Krystal (a breeding ground for local artists), and the weekly ‘Sunday Sesh with several hours of live music every week featuring our ‘residents’; the very best of the very many talented local artists.
Beyond the grass roots stuff the venue has also played host to touring artists on Friday nights such as Paul Heaton and lays on regular jazz, blues and world music nights on Thursdays!
