Photographs courtesy of my client that recently went to Barcelona for a couple of nights. She described her experience:

"very clean, good breakfast. Near about 3 metro stations, depending where you want to go. We bought a 4 day travel card, great value and very necessary. Too hot to walk too far and it had air conditioning. Thank you for booking it for us. Jack had a great time, and wished we could have stayed for longer. Barcelona is very pedestrian friendly, the lights stop as part of the traffic light sequence. No pressing the button to cross."
