It's that time again :-)

Delighted to once again be supporting Stonham Barns Park with their at the same time as continuing to raise monies for this years selected charities, The Bumblebee Children's Charity and Suffolk Animal Rescue.

Last year's show we basked in sunshine and the show had a great turnout - fingers crossed for this year.

Lot's of individual entrants and clubs exhibiting - come down to Stonham Barns Park this Sunday and help build this local .

This Sunday the annual Land Rover show takes place at Stonham Barns Park. Tickets can be purchased on the gate. There is ample of FREE parking onsite as well as other activities outside of the show for entertainment!

It was our pleasure to take you round again Jonathan and yes it must mean we are getting old!

Back in the day I owned/built this. Today I rode in bumblebee and driven by a young lad who at the time was still in primary school …. How times have changed!!!!!

Good luck to all those from Wattisham Airfield taking part in the 'Big Push'. This is going to be a feat of endurance for sure. If you can support Shaun and the team from Wattisham taking part, please do.

Ipswich Hospital Children’s Appeal and Maternity Ward – Wattisham Endurance Race Fundraising

This year, marks 30 years of Army Aviation being based at Wattisham Airfield. To recognise our time here, the three main units will compete in an endurance competition to develop leadership, team cohesion, physical and mental resilience.

The units will also incorporate the opportunity to fundraise for the Children’s and Maternity Wards at Ipswich Hospital. A public service that not only provides amazing care to the local area but has also given a huge amount of support to our military personnel based at Wattisham through medical care for, or the actual birth of many of our children.

The event itself is titled the ‘Big Push’ and will consist of a 24hr endurance race between the three units over the 17/18 Oct 23. This will see three teams of 20 pushing a Land Rover each around a 1 mile course for 24hrs to achieve the furthest overall distance. Essentially, a 24hr Le Mans race. Just with people power rather than horsepower.

We are immensely proud to have such an impressive number of soldiers volunteer to support such a wonderful local service. We really hope we can raise enough money to make a difference to the children and families that the Hospital so diligently cares for.
