I do love a twin centre holiday - getting the most from your holiday and seeing as much of the world as possible.

How about twinning Qatar with a safari in South Africa? There are some great flights that transit through Qatar and this itinerary opens up that connection giving you some down time in this amazing Emirate before you head onto South Africa for Cape Town and Safari. The best thing about this itinerary - the Safari is in a Malaria free zone, so you can take the family without having to worry.

It’s March! The days are getting lighter, the weather a little more spring like - everything feels a little better with a little more sunshine in our lives!

This month I’m really lucky to be going on two cruises to learn all about their offerings. Mid March I’ll be headed to Paris for a river cruise with Uniworld. A week later I’ll be boarding Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Aqua on their pre-inaugural sailing of this brand new ship. If you’ve got any questions about river or ocean cruising please do DM me!

Did you see my reel yesterday from the gorgeous island of Mauritius? More and more of my clients are considering these longer haul destinations over their closer counterparts for their family summer holiday.

If you are considering Greece for your upcoming summer holiday then it may be time to look further afield and consider Mauritius. This absolute gem of an island offers some stunning hotels that in the summer months are a fraction of the price of similar 4 and 5* properties in Greece for the same time period.

Our summer break may not be the peak season for Mauritius but you will still be welcomed into their tropical climate. There may be a small amount of cloud or some short sharp showers but with average temperatures of between 20 and 25 degrees in summer you will still be able to enjoy the warm weather and balmy evenings that the laid back island or Mauritius is famous for.

As the summer is considered off peak for Mauritius you will find that the island is quieter and resorts a little more laid back - no more running to the sunbed at 6am to make sure you get the perfect spot! If you opt to hire a car and explore the island a little you'll find space around you and no jostling for parking or beach space wherever you go.

So why not think beyond the usual, take a look at some different destinations, places like Mauritius may be just what you are looking for in your summer holiday x

HX Hurtigruten Expeditions are one of my favourite expedition cruise companies and this very cute fact is one of the reasons why I work closely with them, sending people on adventures of a life time to some of the more remote places on the planet.

Well hello February!

February snuck up on me this weekend but here we are 3 days in! It's my birthday this month and I always like to dream of where I would head off to in celebration.

A year ago today I took a leap and joined Travel Counsellors.

It has been the most amazing year. I've worked harder than I could have imagine but done things that I could only have dreamed of.

A year ago I couldn't have dreamt that my new business would take me to see the elephants in Sri Lanka and then a few weeks later to sail the Mediterranean on a Virgin Voyages cruise. I've visited cruise ships, taken hotel tours, trained and partied with colleagues and suppliers and generally had the time of my life!

I also couldn't have imagined the amazing trips I have planned for my fabulous clients - my clients are the very heart of everything that I do and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you!

Taking a leap and doing something completely new has been scary (to say the least) but it has also been the most amazing year.

Thank you to everyone of you for following along, sharing my stories and booking with me.

Thank you to everyone who has kept me extremely busy this January researching and booking your dream holidays. I've loved helping each and every one of you.

This morning I braved storm Eowyn to meet up with Royal Caribbean.

A really great morning spent on training. We specifically looked at excursions, signature dining and drinks packages. All things that can be confusing to first time cruisers or those new to Royal as a cruise line.
