I spent a very enjoyable afternoon exploring the country lanes with Rob and Gayle. Gorgeous views of fields, woodland and the sea. It was almost effortless on the electric bikes and so relaxing as it was traffic free! TourDeLanes electric bike tours.

An extremely busy few days at Belvedere. We’ve been putting in a new fence, giving the gate a make-over, putting up new chicken wire at the bottom of the garden, re-felting the shed roof, painting the summer house floor, painting the wall by the hot tub, planting up the veggie patch & planting up in front of the new fence.
The weather is absolutely glorious and it’s been wonderful to be outside all day every day enjoying the sunshine.
DAY OFF tomorrow!! A walk on the beach & then relaxing in the summer house with a good book.

The storm: the whole house was rattling & groaning and the windows were moving inwards with the wind. Scary!! Luckily the only damage was the shed roof & a fence panel. All sorted now!
