Just down the road from us ❤️
September brings Heritage Open Days
which this year is from 6-15 September and is England's largest community led festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations across the country.
Ford & Etal is rich in heritage, community and history so why not visit us at Ford & Etal to learn about and see hidden gems and try out new experiences - all of which are FREE to explore. What will you be adding to your list of places to visit this September? Why not visit the stunning Pre-Raphaelite murals at Lady Waterford Hall telling the fascinating story of the gifted person who created them Louisa Anne, Lady Waterford (1818-1891) or the ruins of Etal Castle of maybe the traditional milling at Heatherslaw Cornmill. Ford & Etal is steeped in fascinating history. Which historic site are you excited to visit? Why not share your visit with us and your photos.
