It's great to hear that lockdown restrictions are gradually being lifted. We look forward to welcoming guests to Cuthbert's Retreat in the near future, when it is safe to do so.

While we have always maintained really high cleaning standards (and achieved 5* feedback from our guests) we now have enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures in place; sanitisers and hand gel are available for our guests to use.

Our external keysafe means that no personal contact is needed on arrival and departure.

We are now waiting for the government's decision as to when it will be safe to allow overnight stays away from home.

Enjoyed a brief visit to Cuthbert's Retreat for inspection and maintenance. We tidied the rear rockery area; hostas and campanula are doing well and brightening the place up.

Lovely little cottage with absolutely everything. Comfortable, clean and extremely well designed with just about everything you could ever need. Let's put it this way, pick it up and place it right on the sea front and we'd want to live in it! The village is literally on your doorstep. Fall out of the cottage and into a supermarket, restaurant, pub and countless little shops. A fabulous base from where we visited Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle and gardens and loads of little villages along the coast. We even managed a trip on the train into Edinburgh. We have had a really good holiday and would visit again most definitely.

We stayed in Wooler for a family wedding and to meet with family the week after. The house was perfect. Beautifully clean and tidy. Comfortable and very well equipped. Easy to understand instructions to find and access the property. Very convenient Co-op with long opening hours.

Would absolutely recommend.
